Wapping has great pubs, the Prospect of Whitby being the best known
outside the area but there are others locals would say are better as a
regular drinking hole where you find a community. The restaurants are
great and the cafes are excellent, all being locally owned or run (with
the exception of Pizza Express in Wapping Lane).
During the week you’ll mostly find locals and workers from nearby
offices but the evening and weekend scenes are very different when its
more residential and sociable. Weekend brunch/lunch is a favourite here
with eating and drinking very popular too.

Being next to the river, Wapping is a great place to go for (short or
long) walks, especially in the summer and there are various parks/green
spots dotted around where you can relax when the weathers is nice

connect with the Thames.
The location is good and Wapping is within walking distance (under
half an hour) of Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Liverpool Street,
Whitechapel and Butlers Wharf.
